Our Efficient Billing and Onboarding Process

 

Verification of Benefits (VOBs):

 

As soon as a potential client provides their health insurance cards, our VOB team will begin verifying that your services are covered for your patient. Our experienced team manages this process by speaking with live representatives from insurance companies to make sure that the information we receive is as accurate as possible. We review many aspects of insurance coverage, including verification of deductible amounts, out-of-pocket costs, and coinsurances. All VOBs are completed within 24-48 hours unless otherwise delayed by the client’s insurance company or a sudden influx of requests.

 

Billing and Claim Submission:

 

Claims are submitted weekly or more often, depending on the agreement, to ensure prompt payments. Our dedicated team follows up regularly to guarantee your client’s billing codes, telehealth codes, and details are processed appropriately to submit clean claims. Some of our claims services include working through and appealing insurance claim denials, secondary claims, and monthly reports.

 

Credentialing:

 

Credentialing is a detail-oriented process that eats up your time and money quickly. Let Kairos Billing Solutions take care of your practice’s credentialing needs, gather all of the details for applications, and walk through each credentialing step until the process is completed. Our credentialing team will follow up with any issues or information needed to complete the credentialing process.

 

Credentialing is generally a 90-120 day process that we offer for an additional fee. Included in our credentialing services is the upkeep of your CAQH, which is required to be updated every 90 days. Through the entire credentialing process, Kairos Billing Solutions will continue to keep your documents and demographics updated with the insurance companies annually.

Payer Enrollment:

Our team will set up your provider account, review credentialing applications, and answer your pain point questions. In addition, we take care of your biggest headaches, including setting up your EDI (electronic data interchange) connections, ERA (electronic remittance advice), and EFT (electronic funds transfer) to have everything direct deposited directly into your bank account. To ensure you are getting the most benefit from your software, our team will also review your practice management software to correctly set it up.
